BEWO: Conversations with women CEO’s during Covid-10 pandemic
THE CHALLENGE
During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, in the midst of confinement, we set out to bring visibility to women CEOs and how they were managing their companies, their teams, and their personal lives in the face of growing uncertainty. This unprecedented situation presented unique challenges and we wanted to highlight the crucial role of these women leaders in such difficult times. With this goal in mind, we created the BEWO project in collaboration with the consulting firm BLI Mindset.
BEWO not only seeks to give visibility to women in leadership positions, but also to those who excel in different fields, providing inspiration and support to other women who aspire to reach their professional and personal goals. BEWO’s purpose is to highlight stories of resilience, creativity and female leadership, providing concrete examples of how to face and overcome adversity, promoting a network of support and empowerment among women in all areas.
STRATEGY
The strategy to achieve our objective was to create a publication based on interviews with 38 women CEOs or directors of companies from various countries and sectors. The publication was produced in English and Spanish, and its dissemination was carried out in several countries.
Phase 1
Pre-launching
Selection of the 38 women CEOs based on geographic area and industry.
Phase 2
Interviews
Personalized interviews via video call.
Phase 3
Report generation
Compilation of the data provided, and drafting of the report.
RESULTS
We obtained wide recognition in general media, and in the HR field with about twenty reviews, as well as several radio interviews. The good reception of the project encouraged us to continue developing initiatives to inspire today’s girls so that they can be whatever they want to be in the future.
